My sister, Liz, and I were not blessed with straight teeth from the get-go. I had braces in junior high, and I remember them quite well. I learned to play my trumpet without them, then had to get braces, and I perfected the high notes while I had them. Then on the day of highschool band auditions... I got them off. Do you have any idea how much that messes with your ability to play? Regardless, I was glad to have them off (and somehow managed to score a spot in the top band too)!
I know Liz is glad she doesn't have them anymore either.
This week's theme over at I Heart Faces is Best Face Photo from January 2011. I didn't get to shoot much this month (hello rainy weekends), but we had a blast with a class photo project for Liz (more on that later)!
