Kelly & Andrew were married on 9/11/2010. It was a very cute backyard vintage do-it-yourself type wedding that came together wonderfully. Their engagement photos are some of my favorites! Kelly & Andrew opted to have a "first look" before the ceremony. This is where the bride and groom decide to see each other before the ceremony...all dressed up, just the two of them...to soak up the moment and reflect on what's about to take place. Photographers love when couples decide to do this because it allows for more time to be creative and take more photos for you to cherish. Sure, it's far from traditional and definitely not for everyone but it really is something to at least consider. If you're having doubts, we'll talk about it and discuss the pros & cons and you can decide what's best for you.
Back to Kelly & Andrew... There were lots of people helping out around the house to get things ready for the wedding. The guys were cooking and the girls were decorating. We managed to get everyone indoors and sneak Kelly out the side door so she could have a few private moments with the love of her life.
And that's when the magic happened.
Stay tuned for a full blog post on their wedding details - it'll be worth it!
