Volunteer Photography Organizations

I wanted to take a minute to share some organizations that I volunteer my time to, giving the best thing I can give - photos. You may not know that things like this even exist. And even if none of these apply to you, you might know someone who could benefit. Please check out the below and share with those who could use these services, or consider volunteering in your own way. All of these can be found at any time using the drop down menu at the end of the link bar up top.

Red Thread Sessions celebrates adoptions by bringing together adoptive families and professional photographers from across the U.S. A group of volunteer photographers have enthusiastically agreed to donate their time and talent to adoptive families so that they can receive the gift of professional portraits for their new families.

HeartsApart.org is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to taking photos of our Military families facing deployment and providing them with a waterproof bi-folding card that fits in their uniform pocket at no cost. HeartsApart.org believes that our military personnel deserve and need the memory of their families to carry them through the difficult times that lie ahead.

The Tiny Sparrow Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing lasting memories through the beautiful art of photography to the families within the United States of America with children who are facing life threatening illnesses.

One act, a lifetime of memories. The Olivia Act is named after Olivia Engel and my photographer friend's daughter, inspired by all the innocent lives killed in the Sandy Hook tragedy. The idea is simple, find a need and fill it.

Again, please share with anyone who could benefit from these amazing organizations!
